Dinagyang Festival is a three day festival which begins on the fourth Friday of January and ends on the fourth Sunday of January in honor of the Baby Jesus and to celebrate the arrival on Panay Island of the Malay settlers. It is held in the City of Iloilo. It is one of the most popular festivals in the Philippines. It attracts tourist because of its street party and the performance of various tribes dressed in indigenous costumes accompanied by music.
